Tswalu Kalahari Reserve

Tswalu is a 114,000 hectare conservation commitment in the Northern Cape, just below the Botswana border. There are 3 ways to stay: Motse Camp (with its 9 luxuriously understated suites), Tarkuni exclusive-use homestead, or Loapi tented camp (6 private villa-style canvas, glass and steel homes, opening July 2023).

The landscape is out of this world and the colours that reveal themselves at different times of day are sublime. From soft candy floss sunrises to fiery sunsets. Animals include Kalahari black-maned lions, pangolins, desert black rhinos, aardvarks, bat-eared foxes, an array of exquisite antelope, and more.

Restaurant Klein JAN is located on the property and a dinner is included in a Tswalu stay.
