Despite only having a proper camera at my disposal for the past 18 months, I've been passionately and furiously documenting my travel experiences for as long as I can remember, right back to when I would have to use a disposable camera or a very basic entry level one with film. But for the sake of archiving (outside of Facebook and Instagram), here are some of my favourite places and pictures taken over the last few years. Most were edited on my iPhone, by way of various Apps like VSCO Cam, so they are all over the place as far as grading goes (not to mention subject matter), but that is all I knew how to do before I was given my first real camera and I started actually investing in photography as a creative pursuit.

For me, taking pictures was always about documenting something I was experiencing in the moment so I could record it for myself. I also love travel, architecture, culture, design, décor, food, and feeling. Then Social Media came along and sharing became the norm.

I'm getting more and more considerate about what I shoot (I do want my output to be appreciated by others too) and what I share (one reason being that Social Media has become grossly saturated and exceptionally boring), but telling stories is something I'm always going to find a way to do. And photography is a rewarding way to do it. It's also something I want to have in my arsenal as far as a creative career goes.
